Abakaliki To Have 8-Hour Power Outage On Saturday, 18th April

Ebonyi State capital – Abakaliki will experience an 8-hour power outage on Saturday, 18th April 2020.

The outrage is to enable the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) to carry out trace maintenance on the Nkalagu-Abakaliki 132kV transmission lines.

SA to the state governor on Media, Mr Nwaze Francis who made the announcement, wrote:

POWER OUTAGE IN ABAKALIKI AND ENVIRONS, SATURDAY 18TH APRIL, 2020.

Please, be informed that there will be a power outage from about 9 AM to 5 PM on Saturday 18th April 2020.

This will affect the entire Abakaliki metropolis and environs and it is to enable the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) to carry out trace maintenance on the Nkalagu-Abakaliki 132kV transmission lines.

The exercise will improve the reliability of the lines and stability of power supply in our dear state.
